About Me
Lauren Yaffe grew up in the wilds of Washington, DC. Her meanderings through Rock Creek Park and the unkempt grasses of her backyard, not to mention her mother's appreciation for mud pies, helped form her deep connection to urban nature. She now lives in Brooklyn, NY, and shares her home with her husband, dog, turtle, and ten thousand or so worms.
